The Los Angeles CPCU Society Chapter is dedicated to the welfare of the community and doing our part to help our neighbors in times of need - Please join us for a day of giving back!
We will begin with a group volunteer event with the LA Regional Food Bank from 1:00-3:30 PM. Did you know that 1 in 4 Angelenos experience hunger? Many wildfire victims also suffer with food insecurity! At this event, we will sort, inspect, and repackage donated food items from local food drives before they get distributed to those in need. There is a variety of tasks you can do to help out on the day! Once you register here, you will receive an email from us with a link to register with the Food Bank **SPACE IS LIMITED** So please sign up as soon as you can to secure your spot! If we have enough interest we can coordinate an additional volunteer group.
*Parking is available on site* Maximum number of volunteers we can accommodate per group is 20. *All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to participate. *Volunteers MUST wear closed toed/heel shoes.
Following the volunteer event, we will be hosting a Happy Hour and Donation Drive to benefit the LA Food Bank. Even if you are unable to attend the earlier portion, please join us at Benny Boy Brewing from 5:30-7:30 for an evening of connecting with fellow LA CPCU Society Chapter members, networking, and collecting donations!

- Excellent selection of craft beer, cider, and wine!
Member & Non-member Cost: $25 paid at the door. This will get you two drink tickets each redeemable for a full pour of beer, cider, or non-alcoholic beverage.
!!**WANT YOUR $25 FEE WAIVED?**!! Bring a friend in the industry who is not a member and enter a raffle to have your $25 waived! Recieve an additional entry for donations brought!
Acceptable donations listed below:
Non-food Items (must be new, in original packaging): Diapers (babies & adults), Wipes (preferably flushable), Toilet Tissue, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Kids KN95 Masks, Paper Towels, Lotion, Soap, Deodorant, Shampoo (preferably waterless)
Food items: Peanut and other Nut Butters, Crackers, Peanut Butter Crackers, Cheese Crackers, Trail Mix, Fruit Snacks, Energy Bars, Pop Top Tuna, Pop Top Chicken, 100% Juice Boxes, Raisins and other Dried Fruit, UHT Milk, Individual Cereal Boxes
